When you use Luna's Corner, we collect:

• Reflection data: Your emotion check-ins, writing prompt responses, and selected goals. This data is private to your account.
• Photos and media: Images you upload as part of daily quests or scrapbook entries. These are stored privately and are only accessible to your account.
• Gamification data: Your coin balance, XP, and affirmation card collection.
• Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the app (e.g. features visited, session length) to help us improve the experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalise your reflection experience.
• To calculate coins and track your affirmation card collection.
• To send important account-related notifications (no marketing without your consent).
• To improve the app based on aggregated, anonymised usage data.

3. Data Storage & Access Controls

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore, Firebase Authentication, and Firebase Storage), hosted in secure Google data centres with encryption at rest and in transit.

We enforce strict database security rules: each user can only read and write their own data. It is technically impossible for one user to access another user's reflections, photos, or any personal content.

Access to raw data at the database level is restricted to authorised team members only (typically the project administrator). We operate a policy of minimal access — team members do not browse or read user data under normal circumstances, and any access is limited strictly to what is necessary (for example, investigating a technical issue at a user's explicit request). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

Luna's Corner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
